To recreate my ‘Black Smokey Eye’ with a soft Purple fade ;
I applied Eye Covet in Noir by Anastasia Beverly Hills, to the entire eyelid, up to the socket.
Also along the waterline and under the lower lashes.
Used my ring finger to soften under the the lashes.
Then I pushed a matte Black eyeshadow over the top to set it in place and create a dense colour.
I have an unnamed brand, but use anything that’s highly pigmented.
I used my Blank Canvas Cosmetics E24 brush for this.
In the crease, I blended ‘Strut’ from my Anastasia Beverly Hills Catwalk palette, which is a purple shade, into the seam of the Black.
I applied it with the same E24 brush from BCC, and then buffed over it using my Base Shadow brush from Real Techniques.
This created a gradient from the Black to the purple.
Once I defined my brow using my Brow Wiz in Brunette, teamed with my AshBlonde brow powder (also from ABH), I then applied their highlighter pencil called Duality under the brow - creating a clean precise shape to my brow.
I used the small end of my E30 brush from BCC to blend the highlighter downwards into my eyeshadow. A synthetic angled brush is best for this.
I added a silvery eyeshadow from my Sleek palette to create the highlight on the inner corner of my eye. I applied the eyeshadow using my E23 pencil brush from BCC.
I finished off by applying some Magnetic Lash mascara & I added some fluffy lashes from Urban Decay to complete this smokey eye!
